Emerging Agri-entrepreneur Of Nepal

M.R Shashan Devkota is the Founding Director of Samira Agrotech Pvt. Ltd. and Managing Director at Nepal Agrovine Private Limited.

He started his entrepreneurial journey after completing his abroad studies and research (2019).Now, He had successfully evaluated strawberry varieties in research trials in Biratnagar, Dharan and Chitwan and Evaluated Seedless Watermelon varieties in Morang and Chitwan. He is planning to go on floor to commercialize largescale strawberry and watermelon farm nationwide at initial phase.

M.R Devkota is a MSc. Fellow in the department of Entomology and Nematology at University of Florida, Florida, USA. M.R Devkota had graduated Bachelor in Agriculture from Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science, Rampur campus, chitwan (2005-2009). 

He had worked as research assistant (2015-2018) at multiple research centres ie; Vegetable IPM laboratory, Tropical research and education centre and Small Fruit Entomology lab,coast research and education centre, Florida,USA where he conduct experiments on arthropoda in strawberry and evaluate the efficiency on it.
